Chef Derry Hammond:

 

Born and raised in a small town in Mississippi, Derry Hammond grew up enjoying the southern tradition of backyard BBQ’s with friends, family and a feast of incredible southern food.  It’s the best day of the week in the south and just as much about quality family time as food.

 

  After a childhood of helping both grandmas in the kitchen, Derry adapted some of his favorite recipes to create the menu at Sweet Magnolia Smokehouse.  Some southern hospitality, a big smile, the charming accent and of course amazing southern barbecue is what you’ll find at Sweet Magnolia Smokehouse Food Truck & a Restaurant!  We think his grandmas would be proud!
