I’ve been dealing with a check engine light on my 2011 Ford F150 for months now and I’m going crazy. I’ve taken it to three different shops around Sharjah. Each one reads the code (P0420 catalyst efficiency) and then gives me a different answer. One said replace the oxygen sensors, another said the catalytic converter, a third said it might be an exhaust leak. I live in the Muelih area and I’m looking for a shop that will actually diagnose the problem instead of just throwing parts at it. Someone recommended Seasoned Service Specialists Muelih but I can’t find much info about them. Has anyone used them for diagnostic work? I need someone who can do proper testing like checking live data from the O2 sensors and doing a backpressure test on the cats. The truck runs fine otherwise, good power and fuel economy, so I’m not convinced it needs a converter. Also how much should a proper diagnostic cost so I know if I’m being reasonable? I’m willing to pay more if they can actually figure it out. Any recommendations for honest mechanics near Muelih who understand Ford trucks would be great. Thanks.
