New wheels are on the way, how do I keep them from getting destroyed?

I finally pulled the trigger on a set of forged wheels that I’ve been dreaming about for ages, they’re a beautiful matte bronze finish with a machined lip and honestly I’m so excited to get them on the car. The thing is, I’m already getting anxious about keeping them in good condition because I’ve seen what happens to wheels in this city, curb rash from tight parking spots, brake dust that seems to bake onto the surface if you don’t clean it off quickly, and that horrible white corrosion that appears around the centre caps from all the dust and humidity. I know I should probably get them ceramic coated or at least sealed before I even put them on the car, but I’m not sure what’s actually worth the money versus what’s just overpriced fluff. I’ve heard that some places offer a protective film that goes on the wheel face to protect against minor scuffs, which sounds amazing in theory, but I’m wondering how well it actually holds up to the heat and whether it changes the appearance of the wheel finish. I’ve been looking around for a place that offers quality rim protection in Abu Dhabi because I figure if I’m going to spend this much on wheels, I should probably invest in keeping them looking good for as long as possible. Has anyone here had their wheels protected with ceramic coating or film and felt like it was genuinely worth it? I’d really appreciate some honest advice before I make a decision.
