Hey guys! Summer is in full swing here and my workspace humidity is sitting around 65-70%. My usual adhesive is starting to set way too fast, and I’m getting tiny brush-offs during isolation. 😩 I’ve tried adjusting my dehumidifier, but it’s struggling to keep up. What adhesives are you all using right now that give a solid 5-6 week retention without flash-curing in high humidity?
I feel your pain! High humidity turns fast glues into an absolute nightmare. I usually switch to a slightly slower drying time (like 1-2 seconds instead of 0.5s) during peak summer months because the moisture speeds everything up anyway. Also, keeping a nano mister nearby helps shock-cure at the end without ruining the bond. What dry time are you currently working with?
