Man I wish I’d known about proper cargo solutions two months ago when a 5 gallon water bottle tipped over in my Pajero and soaked the entire carpet, the smell still hasn’t completely gone away even after three rounds of professional cleaning. I started looking around for something that would keep stuff from shifting and also allow air circulation underneath so spills aren’t just sitting against the fabric, that’s when a colleague at the warehouse mentioned Vehicle Pallets and how they use them in the delivery vans to prevent exactly this kind of disaster. Ended up checking out crateco since they’re local and honestly the variety caught me off guard, wasn’t expecting to see so many different materials and weight capacities. I’m leaning toward one of the plastic ones because wood just seems like it would absorb moisture and get nasty over time here in the Dubai humidity but I’m curious if anyone has feedback on how the plastic holds up when it’s parked outside in summer, like does it warp at all when the interior gets to those insane temperatures or is it pretty stable?
