I’m looking at a 2016 Cadillac Escalade from a used car lot in Ras Al Khaimah and the price is decent but I’ve heard too many stories about the 6L80 transmission and the magnetic ride suspension failing on these. The seller says I can get any inspection I want, so I’m thinking of booking a Cadillac Pre Purchase Inspection Dubai to make sure I’m not buying a money pit. What I can’t figure out is whether these inspections go beyond just checking fluids and basic OBD codes. Do they actually drop the underbody covers to look for leaks, test the air suspension compressor duty cycle, or measure brake rotor runout? I’d rather pay for a thorough check now than discover a leaking rear main seal a month later. If anyone has done one of these on a Cadillac truck or SUV, what did the report actually include and was it worth it? Thanks.
