Learning to load more tension in the system requires a lot of awareness. In this drill @ryannotoole is using the wall to
push off off which most athletes don’t really do to get her pelvis in a better position on the right side for more power when using her right leg due to the tension created.
The left heel should be on the wall dragging up, lowering and driving
hard down through the left knee. This allows her to get her right hip higher and butt underneath her.
The right heel also is dragging back creating a loaded spring effect. Awesome drill for activation or as an auxiliary drill.
Start with a light KB also thinking about towels under your armpits as you rotate.
